Mississippi Pot Roast

1 chuck roast, approximately 3 pounds
1 packet au jus
1 packet ranch dressing
1/4 cup butter (half a stick)
6 mild pepperoncini peppers
1/3 to 1/2 cup juice from the pepperoncini jar

Put roast in the crock pot, add everything else.  Cook on high for 8-10 hours.  If desired, can add carrots half way through.
